The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), College of Dentistry, Office of Academic is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Academic Affairs to join a worldwide leader in oral health education, clinical care and research that is patient-centered and evidence-based.
The College of Dentistry is the largest oral health college in the State of Illinois, provides care for 35,000 patients a year, and has over 500 students seeking dental degrees including DMD, PhD and Master’s programs. The Associate Director will oversee academic programs, curriculum development, academic grievances, student academic progress, distance learning, and the implementation and enhancement of all academic policies. This role serves as a liaison and resource for the DMD, DMDAS, PG, and MS programs regarding all aspects of their progress toward professional competency.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health sciences, Social Sciences related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred and a minimum 3 years of increasing responsibilities in the fields of registration, admissions and/or student affairs. The preferred candidate will also have familiarity with BANNER, EDDIE, Filemaker.
