The Institutional Advancement Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for aDigital Fundraising Manager.

Join us and work with our students to create texting, calling and video campaigns for our Katie Fund! TheDigital Fundraising Managerplays a key role in growing future participation and revenue for the Katie Fund. This position plays a key role in Annual Fund revenue growth, providing leadership in the expansion of digital engagement initiatives and student giving initiatives. You will collaborate with the Development team to create and implement strategies and will be responsible for rolling out tactics to successfully increase Annual Fund participation and donations from key constituencies. Additionally, you will develop strategies to engage and retain new donors and current student donors.

Please note, the standard hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday 12:30pm – 9:00pm, with flexibility to adjust for campus meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Run digital engagement and fundraising strategies for donors and prospects, including:
    • Current and emergent technologies for communication and solicitation (e.g., text solicitation)
    • Focus on accessibility and engagement of donors and prospects from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
  • Hire, train and oversee student employees through traditional calling systems and innovative contact methods with emphasis to increase revenue and participation.
  • Manage, execute and assess all digital prospect engagement including, but not limited to pushing out social media, email messages, texts, videos and appeals
  • Ensure that any donor or prospect inquiries receive responses promptly, and questions are treated with respect, dignity, and compassion
  • Reimagine the Telefund program to a Student Engagement Center with 25 student ambassadors who will reach out to engage and solicit prospects by traditional telephone and new and emergent technologies
  • Inspire and motivate all student and volunteer fundraisers to connect genuinely with prospects and share their enthusiasm for the mission and goals of St. Catherine University

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree. Note that a combination of university coursework and relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • Able to communicate vibrantly with a wide variety of people including donors, VIPs, faculty, staff, vendors, and student workers
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize multiple detailed and simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of computer knowledge and problem solving ability
  • Sensitivity to personal and confidential information
  • A commitment to the University, its mission, values, programs, and future
  • Evening, weekend and flexible work schedule as required to produce results



Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of experience in higher education development
  • Demonstrated competency in writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated competency with relational databases, Microsoft Office products, electronic donor information and tracking systems
  • Proven supervisory skills, preferably with college-aged students
