Job Description

Saint Peter’s University is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Office of the Registrar. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services/University Registrar, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing critical registrar-related services, management of enterprise and non-traditional programs, academic catalog, and registrar related reporting. Must possess the ability to resolve issues promptly, efficiently, and courteously, while extending cura personalis to the community.

Duties & Responsibilities

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
● Coordinates and implements multiple facets of off-campus academic programs, projects, and/or processes including, the development of course planning, registration, statistics, reporting, and training.
● Anticipates and resolves issues with enterprise partnerships, analyzes feedback and implements change to program delivery accordingly, while striving for the highest level of student service throughout all phases of the program.
● Assist with preparing and deploying communication to students and work with appropriate offices to provide content for publications, emails, and the website.
● Prepares and maintains the undergraduate and graduate academic catalogs.
● Creates and maintains policies and procedures pertaining to the Registrar area.
● Processes requests for course registration overrides, transcripts, program evaluations, transfer credits, changing majors, assigning advisors, issuing statements of accounts, answering phones, scanning, grade changes, classroom assignments, and National Student Clearinghouse inquiries.
● Prepares reports relating to the registrar’s area as requested by the campus community. ● Troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves disputes in collaboration with the campus community.
● Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops to keep up-to-date on issues relating to the Registrar’s Office.
● Maintains the integrity and security of academic records.
● Performs other duties as assigned by the University Registrar.

Qualification Standards

Working knowledge of the registrar’s office. Positive attitude and friendly demeanor; effective verbal communication skills; ability to multitask; problem-solving skills; customer service experience. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn new skills, software applications, and procedures quickly. Must be able to work independently while remaining up to date on college-wide procedures and policies. Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, Ellucian Colleague, Image Now, and Entrinsik Infomer

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of two (2) years working in a higher education setting
