Position Summary
The University at Buffalo’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to work as part of a team to help elucidate the genetic and transcriptomic underpinnings of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder in ancestrally diverse populations.

Position Summary

- perform various types of next generation sequencing analysis on whole-exome sequencing, whole-genome sequencing, RNA -Seq, ChIP-seq and other high-throughput data
- be expected to work and learn independently as needed
- oversee the work of students in the lab

- PhD in bioinformatics, genetics, biomedical sciences, or related field.
- Experience in statistical genetics and/or bioinformatics.
- Proficiency in R, Python, and/or SQL .
