Be yourself and start your career here. Help us build a better Brockport! Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time adjunct positions as needed. The Department of Art seeks interest from design and art educators who can teach in the following areas: Drawing, 2D Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Design, and Illustration. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution, OR BFA or Bachelor's degree with evidence of strong professional work experience in design or illustration field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Significant teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Willingness to teach basic design software literacy (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and introduce graphic design studio skills (in Graphic Design courses).
  • Ability to teach and demonstrate perspective and basic drawing concepts and techniques (in Drawing courses).
