Job Description
The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University invites applications for a nontenure track, full-time position of Assistant Teaching Professor of Linguistics and Japanese. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in general linguistic analysis, morphology, syntax, formal semantics, pragmatics; and advanced Japanese courses; and contribute to the core curriculum of the Linguistics Studies minor, major, and Master of Arts degree programs, and to the linguistic theory concentration.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Linguistics or a related field is required. Candidates should have teaching experience in the above areas.
