The School of Journalism and Strategic Communication at Ball State University seeks an assistant lecturer/assistant director to teach undergraduate courses and support the administration of the unit.

Description
The School of Journalism and Strategic Communication has a full-time, non-tenure-track, Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Director position available in August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching and academic administrative support to the unit.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in journalism, strategic communication, or sports-related field from an accredited institution.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in journalism, strategic communication, or sports-related field from an accredited institution and at least one year of part-time or full-time professional experience in sports, journalism, and/or strategic communication.
