Job Details
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-time Ceramics, Non-Credit Trainer position. The Part-time Ceramics, Non-Credit Trainer possess the professional knowledge and skill in ceramic design and creation to oversee the advanced ceramic students who have unstructured time in the studio to create and finish work independently. The Ceramics Trainer has experience in the proper techniques of wheel throwing and hand building to guide students’ ability to create professionally designed ceramic pieces. Also, the Ceramics Trainer has experience maintaining and safely using kilns.
*Effective date will be for the summer session 2023 (June- August)
** This position requires the candidate to submit PA State Police Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprints prior to their first day of employment.
Qualifications:
- B.F.A. required Experience working in a Ceramics studio required Experience firing kilns required
