Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and
Sciences Physician Assistant Program at the Ruskin, Florida campus
is seeking applications for a Clinical Coordinator. The appointment
for this 12-month, tenure-track or teaching-track faculty position
begins May 2023 or upon hire. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the ongoing development of clinical sites to
support program accreditation, will teach 24 o4 27 credits
(teaching and clinical coordinating) in the academic year based on
appointment type, and prepare motivated students intellectually,
professionally, and personally. Gannon University seeks excellence

A Master of Physician Assistant Science degree (or equivalent) or a medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) is required, with preference given to candidates with a post-professional doctorate degree (Ph.D., DSc, DHSc, EdD, etc.). Current NCCPA certification (if applicable), three to five years of full-time clinical experience, and PA, MD, or DO licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida are required. A minimum of two years of prior teaching, clinical preceptor, and/or research experience is preferred. Ideally, candidates will also have experience using course management systems for purposes of instruction and advising. Qualified tenure-track candidates will be expected to engage in scholarly activities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship as is appropriate to the application and receipt of tenure and promotion at Gannon. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
