The Department of Management at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in management at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s research, teaching and service. We invite applicants from any field within the management and organization studies discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in innovative topics in management. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and tax-free in the UAE. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must have a PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited university. An ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates must show great research potential, with promising working papers ideally on track to publication in top-tier management journals. Existing publications in top-tier management journals are a plus. A successful candidate should be willing and able to teach across the curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Management department faculty are all specialists and researchers in a broad variety of management topics. Their research has been published in leading management journals, such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Family Business Strategy, Personnel Review, Journal of Knowledge Management, and is regularly being presented at leading conferences in the field.
