Position Summary Information

Position Summary

This faculty position is a full time, temporary faculty position within the Department of Counseling and Development for the Fall 2023 semester. Primary responsibilities include teaching a full-time graduate load of courses in a CACREP accredited master’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Other responsibilities include advising students, serving on university and department committees, participating in program evaluation/student assessment efforts, and engaging in scholarly activities commensurate with appointment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Familiarity with and teaching experience in a CACREP -accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania as a Professional Counselor
  • Demonstrated commitment to and experience in working with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • An earned doctorate from a CACREP -accredited Counselor Education and Supervision program by August 21, 2023
  • Experience in delivering quality instruction in traditional and online learning environments
