Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Epilepsy Genetics. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. ABPN board-eligible or board-certified in Child Neurology.
Responsibilities may include include developing a research program in pediatric epilepsy and epilepsy genetics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania, and supporting our epilepsy and epilepsy genetics program in both clinical and research settings.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching while developing a career in an academic setting.
