Job Description:

The analyst will assist with the institution's report development, report deployment, report delivery methods, operational data stores, and data warehouses using the ability to plan, guide, report, and coordinate work. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of reporting environments and report development, the development of business intelligence (dashboards and executive management decision tools), development of operational data stores and data warehouses, and educating and communicating these services, features, and tools to the institution’s community. The analyst will also perform data validation and testing of business processes and reports. Contact with users and vendors are required on an as needed basis. Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in business IT, computer science, engineering or related field is required
 1 - 3 years’ experience with data reporting tools (Evisions Argos, Crystal Reports, SSRS, etc)
 1 – 3 years’ experience with Data Modeling, Reporting, Business Intelligence, and/or Data Warehousing
 1 – 3 years’ Experience with executive reporting, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPI), and/or scorecards
 1 – 3 years’ experience with SQL and/or Oracle relational database management systems
 Knowledge of relational database concepts and data modeling preferred.
 Ability to work well with others.
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
 Good knowledge of Higher Education general business practices and procedures.
 Familiarity with existing operating systems.
 Ability to develop business system models, report, programming, debugging, and data analysis.
 Ability to work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise.
 Ability to work in a multi-platform environment.
