NursingCAS Marketing & Analytics Manager

General Functions:

Manages digital marketing initiatives and national data analysis for NursingCAS, the centralized student application service for 295 nursing schools. Develops and manages CRM campaigns for student applicants. Maintains the NursingCAS website and leads digital recruitment efforts to drive growth for the national applicant pool. Manages national, annual NursingCAS virtual student fair and supports student recruitment initiatives. Develops marketing initiatives to support CAS participation by schools.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement a digital marketing plan to drive awareness and increase the use of NursingCAS by colleges and students. Develop strategic content for CRM student and school email campaigns and social media. Collaborate with vendors (e.g., website and retargeted ads) to develop new platform tools to increase reader engagement. Report on readership, metrics, and campaign success.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual NursingCAS analytics reports to educate membership and assess national applicant trends.

Serve as lead project manager for annual NursingCAS virtual student fair. Collaborate to plan recruitment events with pre-health academic advisors and prospective students.

Collaborate with website and marketing vendors to ensure high visibility and drive applicant growth for NursingCAS and member schools; Manage and implement changes to optimize website; Partner with vendor to create new websites for prospective and current schools, and a newsletter platform to increase readership, user education, and retention. Educate members on best digital recruitment practices.

Oversee marketing for all NursingCAS events (e.g., Virtual Fairs, monthly webinars, conferences). Manages social media accounts and monthly member newsletter.

Assists with the annual review of NursingCAS school pages to ensure accuracy for successful cycle launch.

Develops and maintains web-based resources and marketing collateral to support growth and outreach for NursingCAS. Other duties as assigned.

 

Background /Skills / Abilities Required

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Communications, marketing, digital media, journalism, or related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in higher education, recruitment, admissions, or membership.

Success with leveraging digital marketing initiatives to grow engagement. Experience with CRM and analytics platforms, database and website management (WordPress or similar software), social media automation. Strong writing and editing skills for mass communications. A foundational knowledge of analytics and a desire to learn more. Project management skills for leading national events and implementations. Experience with the development of written content and marketing collateral. Interest in researching and implementing new technological platforms. Experience with using centralized or common application systems (CAS/WebAdMIT) is preferred.

Additional qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, project management, problem-solving, attention to detail, and self-starter skills. A strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects while working independently. Must be flexible and collaborative and have good interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Experience with using design and photo software, Higher Logic, or EMP, is preferred but not required.
