Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

Job Description: This is an Adjunct Instructor position for an exciting new pilot program as part of the ECACE (Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity) Grant. The successful candidate should be able to teach ECE 101 Introduction to Early Childhood Education and ECE 102 Child Development. The successful candidate must be able to teach a course in both Spanish and English.
This is a pilot program funded by ECACE (Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity) to upskill the current early childhood workforce and address the teacher shortage in Illinois. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in ECE in Spanish.
Education Requirements: Graduate degree in early childhood education, education or related field.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of three years working with young children in a learning environment. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Preferred: Minimum of two years teaching early childhood courses at the post-secondary education level.
