About the Opportunity
Position Summary:
The Patient Assistance and Records Associate will assist the Patient Care and Operations Manager in the day-to-day operation of the University Health and Counseling services.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of related office experience, preferably in a university/college health center, or an applicable customer service setting. | Professional, diplomatic, reliable, personable, and consistent customer service skills | Experience in using Windows-based personal computer workstation, sufficient to demonstrate proficiency in several computer-based applications after training. This includes EClinical Works (ECW), Interactive Client, and other software. | Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred | Ability to process phone and in person inquires in a fast paced, often stressful environment, while exhibiting strong communication skills, including listening, expression, and empathy. | Ability to provide clear, consistent and accurate detailed information regarding University Health and Counseling Services. Ideal candidate: | Outgoing, pleasant team player who consistently and reliably builds positive customer relationships with students, families and colleagues through skillful problem identification and resolution. Via phone and in-person interactions. | One who possesses the maturity to accomplish the multiple tasks at hand, frequently under stressful circumstances, without losing his/her calm and professionalism
Rotating Saturday and evening coverage is required.
