Job Summary: The Intelligence & Data Analysis Program is seeking candidates for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Years 1-2 will require the development and teaching of courses in the major as well as extensive community relationship building to establish internship program and sites. Responsibilities include the teaching of introductory and advanced courses in the major and department; the development of program and course-level assessment protocols; curricular planning; and academic advisement of students in the program. Candidates with experience teaching general education courses are encouraged to apply, as successful candidates should be prepared to teach in the college's general education program, including the Hilbert Blueprint.  Full-time faculty appointments are for a ten-month contract period, and the standard teaching load is twelve-credit hours per semester. Student advisement and participation on college committees is required. Salary is commensurate with experience. Final appointments are budget dependent.

Appointment/Start Date: August 1, 2023

Requirements/Qualifications:  A Master’s degree and practical experience in Intelligence, Data Analysis or a related field required. Ph.D. or terminal degree preferred; ABD candidates will also be considered. Postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required. Experience teaching in higher education; experience with program and course development; knowledge of assessment practices; demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment; and experience in student advisement preferred.
