St. Norbert College
Vice President for Academic Affairs

St. Norbert College, an acclaimed Catholic liberal arts institution situated on a vibrant, riverside campus in De Pere, Wisconsin, a community contiguous with the city of Green Bay, seeks a dynamic and proven leader to serve as its next vice president for academic affairs (VPAA).

A primarily residential campus, St. Norbert College is home to about 1,800 students from 34 states, 12 countries and five continents, as well as 137 full-time and 32 part-time faculty. The faculty are passionate about engaging students, innovating with high impact practices, and actively pursuing meaningful scholarship. The college is consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top liberal arts colleges in the nation.

St. Norbert (SNC) is the only college in the world sponsored by the Norbertines, a Catholic order devoted to witnessing a deep experience of community and serving the needs of others. Founded in 1898, St. Norbert College promotes the development of the whole person by cultivating practices of study, reflection, prayer, wellness, play and action.

The vice president for academic affairs is the chief academic officer of the College and will report directly to incoming president Dr. Laurie Joyner, who will begin her role in July 2023. In addition to serving on the president's leadership team, the vice president assumes the responsibilities of the chief executive officer in the president's absence and engages in strong collaborative relationships with the academic deans and with all members of the President's Cabinet.

The position profile can be viewed here, and provides full information, including the leadership agenda and a full list of desired qualifications. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, and materials received by March 27, 2023, are assured full consideration.
