Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and Academic Search invite candidates and nominations for a visionary leader to bring energy and focus in serving as the next Dean of the Eberly College of Business. Reporting to the newly appointed Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Lara Luetkehans. The new Dean will provide leadership for all matters of the College concerning faculty and staff, curriculum, budget development and management, facilities oversite, resource development, evaluation of programs, and the initiation of new programs and initiatives. The new Dean is expected to begin work in the summer of 2023.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
• Terminal degree in one of the disciplines within the Eberly College of Business
• Record of scholarship, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank of Professor at IUP
• Proven administrative leadership abilities, including human capital management, fiscal management, strategic planning, external engagement
• Track record of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Strategic, future-oriented, and innovative leader
• Commitment to and support for shared governance
• Experience with AACSB accreditation
• Experience with curriculum assessment and design

Desired
• Commitment to consensus-building and transparent and collaborative leadership and communication style
• Demonstrates a passion for student success and the student experience
• Experience growing enrollments
• Visible and accessible faculty leader
• Experience evaluating and reshaping curriculum to meet current and future student learning needs
• Ability to develop community relationships and new funding sources
• Bias for action and a record of setting and surpassing goals
• Excellent listener, strategic thinker, and problem solver
• Experience with and appreciation for the accreditations process(es)
• An appreciation for all disciplines within the Eberly College of Business
• Experience teaching and/or leading in a union environment
