Position Description: Director of Student Billing Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain student accounts (generate billing statements, add/drop adjustments, discount adjustments, assessing misc. fees to student accounts, etc.).
  • Oversight and posting of all Financial Aid disbursed to student accounts.
  • Create and maintain billing and refund codes in the operating system
  • Third Party Invoicing for student accounts.
  • Generate 1098-T tax statements
  • Communication with students regarding charges, payments, and other financial considerations.
  • Oversee the set-up and accuracy of third-party servicers for payments, refunds and collection.
  • Meetings and committees (weekly & monthly)
  • Respond to office email and voicemail.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required, Master’s Degree preferred
  •  3-5 years, related office work and customer service
  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Strong analytical, telephone and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Jenzabar or similar software, and Transact software.  Basic knowledge of general Business Office functions
