Position Overview
 
The Division of Information Technology at Colorado State University (CSU) is seeking a strategic, future-oriented, and collaborative senior leader to join our team as the Assistant Vice President of Experience and Collaboration.  Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology/CIO, this position will provide innovative leadership for our Academic Technology, Research IT, User Support Services, Application Development, and Software Licensing services.  This includes a growing team of 34 full-time staff, approx. 30+ student employees, and a budget of $6+ million.     This new leadership position will embrace, actively role model, and communicate our Division of IT Purpose Statement (Innovating IT, Empowering CSU), our divisional values (Community, Collegiality, Reliability, Service, and Simplicity), and the CSU Principles of Community.  This includes our divisional commitment to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices, strategies, and initiatives.   This position partners closely with faculty, researchers, and campus administrators to ensure our division is providing the right services to meet the needs of our teaching & learning and research missions as well as our campus student success initiatives.  As a national thought leader, this position will help lead campus technology strategies and operations ensuring collaboration with academic and divisional units and the campus Courageous Strategic Transformation Framework.
  Divisional Overview   The Division of Information Technology, the central IT organization for Colorado State University-Ft. Collins, supports the land-grant heritage of the institution as well as the university’s missions of teaching and learning, research, and service. Our engaged team of 120 staff members and 30+ students are responsible for delivering enterprise and campus focused IT services for the Ft. Collins campus as well as services throughout the CSU-System.
