We tackle issues with collaborative communication, experience, and expert knowledge to inform innovative, effective, and efficient solutions. As part of the University, the FM team, and as a delegated agency of the Office of the State Architect; the Capital Design and Contract Administration section oversees design and development planning for major capital projects. We administer legislative approvals, capital design and construction procurements, accommodate the building code compliance process and maintain the CSU Facilities Planning, Design and Construction Standards. Our team is highly productive, innovative, and nimble.  We are a tight-knit, active group with a propensity for technology, life-long learning, interdisciplinary process, and continuous improvement.

 

This position coordinates, manages and administers Design and Construction procurement and interview logistics in accordance with Office of the State Architect policies and procedures.  The procurements are for design and construction projects that are that are managed by the Engineering and Capital Construction section, as well as the Remodel and Construction Services sections in Facilities Management.
