Job Summary

The Transfer Credit Evaluator reviews transfer student application files, articulating transfer credit, making admission decisions, and assists with counseling prospective students on admissions procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Review application materials and college transcripts to determine eligibility for admission
  • Articulate transfer credit to Georgia Southern
  • Provide aid with processing all student types, including entry of applications, transcripts, and daily mail
  • Participate with transfer student visitation opportunities
  • Maintain high internal and external customer service standards
  • Meet with prospective students to review enrollment requirements


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of related work experience


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Banner student information system; experience in Admissions or Registrar office


Proposed Salary

$33,100

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
