The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at the University of Oklahoma seeks applications for two full-time faculty of Spanish.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will join the Spanish program in Fall 2023 and will teach 22 to 26 credit hours every year, typically four courses per semester, primarily from Beginning to Advanced Spanish.
Required Qualifications
Lecturer position:
Doctoral degree in Spanish language, literature, linguistics, applied linguistics or a related field at the time of appointment. Applicants must have native or near-native proficiency in Modern Standard Spanish.
Instructor position:
Master’s degree in Spanish language, literature, linguistics, applied linguistics or a related field at the time of appointment. Applicants must have native or near-native proficiency in Modern Standard Spanish.
