The basics of this position:

Performs duties necessary to ensure effective office operations by overseeing division office staff and providing a diverse range of administrative support functions; tracks division office supply and service budgets; oversees the completion of payroll and the input of class schedules; compiles statistical data; maintains complex recordkeeping and filing systems; prepares forms, logs, schedules, and memoranda.

What you'll do:

Oversees division office procedures, organizes and directs work flow. Hires, trains,
supervises, and evaluates student workers. Trains new and existing staff in payroll,
purchasing and word processing and database usage. Oversees all division clerical
staff.

Provides administrative support for an associate dean or director by gathering,
summarizing, and analyzing data for reports. Tracks and provides budget
information regarding part-time faculty payroll and division operating budgets.

Maintains division office records, files, and confidential materials. Completes
special projects and reports.

Oversees the completion of part-time and full-time faculty, professional, and
classified payroll and hiring documents. Completes purchasing documents and
maintains budgetary records.

Oversees the input in the CRT of division course offerings and resolves room
conflicts for division classrooms. Sets deadlines and coordinates information from
department chair.

Makes all division travel arrangements. Collects and verifies expense reports for
faculty.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Associate's Degree or equivalent and three (3) years of progressively, responsible
secretarial work experience or a High School diploma and over five (5) years of
progressively, responsible secretarial work experience.
