Research Assistant Professor - Earth & Atmospheric Sciences - (FAC002843)



A full-time, non-tenure track research faculty position at the rank of Research Assistant Professor is available in Dr. Zheng’s research group at the University of Houston ( zhengyoutong.wixsite.com/mysite ). The successful candidates have the room to develop research projects on clouds, boundary layer dynamics, aerosol-cloud interactions, and their roles in climate change using ground-based and satellite observations and a hierarchy of models.

The successful candidate will also work with Dr. Zheng to provide training and supervision to undergraduate/graduate students in Zheng's group.

Qualifications :
  • PhD or Doctorate degree in atmospheric science or a related field
  • Experience working in an academic environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A successful record of peer-reviewed publications
