Purchase College invites applications for a Screenwriting tenure-track position beginning fall 2023.

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate interest and commitment to student learning and success, general education and interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in the arts and the liberal arts.  The College is committed to learning-centered instruction that engages students in curricular and service learning activities. 

For the faculty lines, excellence in teaching with a strong commitment to contributing to core courses and the potential to maintain an active research program or artistic career are essential.  Terminal degree by August 2023 is required. 

Purchase College is an undergraduate institution located 25 miles north of New York City. It houses a unique combination of Liberal and Arts and Sciences and Arts Conservatory programs.
