Landmark College (LC) is highly entrepreneurial college for bright neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD; including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges). Whether at the Putney, Vermont flagship campus, through LC Online, or at our west coast Success Center, Landmark is a traditional, fully accredited, institution that provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich academic and student life model.
The College is in a growth phase for its residential and LC Online programs. Specifically, LC seeks two full-time Assistant Professors in Math.
This opportunity is for faculty who are interested in pursuing evidence-based practices in teaching college-level mathematics and computer science. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of undergraduate mathematics and computer science courses. Mathematics courses include general undergraduate mathematics courses as well as advanced level mathematics courses supporting computer science, life science, and psychology degrees. Computer Science courses include first courses in programming (Java) and other undergraduate courses related to faculty area of interest and expertise. A terminal degree or commensurate experience in the discipline or a related field is highly desirable. A working understanding of the nature of specific learning disabilities and teaching experience at the college level are also highly desirable.
