This position is responsible for working with the Dean and other senior administrators to oversee and facilitate a broad range of projects that relate to the law school’s strategic goals and accreditation. The Director will independently manage multiple projects from inception to completion and help ensure that specified projects are meeting milestones, quality expectations, and deadlines.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with the Dean to provide support in the completion of strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with internal and external partners to advance the school’s profile and objectives
  • Help implement goals from the law school’s Strategic Priorities
  • Research and explore new initiatives
  • Complete, verify, and submit various accreditation reports and related materials
  • Prepare and facilitate major law school surveys and reports, such as U.S. News and ABA reports
  • Plan, assign, and review work of staff contributing to reports to ensure that group objectives are met, and data are accurate
  • Work with the law school and University leadership on relevant processes and systems related to the law school
  • Collaborate with relevant constituencies to update and initiate drafting of relevant policies
  • Participate in University committees as a representative of the law school
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the Dean
  • Function as the ABA site visit coordinator in collaboration with law school constituencies
  • Develop and oversee assessment and measuring tools in collaboration with faculty and the associate dean for academic affairs, in consistency with ABA requirements
  • Serve as liaison for non-academic university policies related to faculty and staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
