Three postdoctoral research positions are available in the Department of Biochemistry.
Job Summary :
Conduct experiments to study the function of steroid receptor coactivators, chromatin remodeling factors, and their downstream target genes in the development and progression of prostate cancer and breast cancer using cell culture systems, animal models, and bioinformatics.
Minimum Qualifications :
Applicants should have a PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cancer biology, or a discipline appropriate to position.
Desired Qualifications :
Ability to make autonomous decisions, have good interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Working Conditions :
The incumbent generally performs job duties in a normal laboratory environment. This involves working while sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. The job also includes significant experiment planning and execution, which requires a significant level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting supply items.
