Work Schedule: For this semester, teach a 3 credit ART-100 Survey of Art hybrid class. Class meets in person Wednesdays 11am-12:45pm, and online

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for teaching up to 9 credits in the specified field of study as assigned by the Division Chairperson and for serving as advisor to students.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Master’s Degree in Fine Arts or related area. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds. Prior teaching experience in higher education preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to teach ART 100 – Survey of Art utilizing the department’s approved curriculum.
• Proven dynamic classroom leadership and the ability to foster enthusiasm in students.
• Proficiency in the set-up and use of alternate delivery methods (e.g., Internet and hybrid) preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.g., internet and interactive video) at a proficient level.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
