Overview
Princeton University's Office of Human Resources (HR) seeks a collaborative Talent Acquisition Associate. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to join our high performing team and contribute to transforming talent acquisition at Princeton University. This position performs a wide range of recruitment operations services in a high touch, high volume recruiting environment. The role requires an individual who is self-directed with excellent communication and organization skills, problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Responsibilities
- Facilitate hiring process for high volume, non-exempt temporary staff positions. Post job requisitions, perform background checks and related pre-employment new hire processes. Review and approve new hire paperwork. Advise managers on temporary staff policies and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment vendor partners such as LinkedIn and job boards. Ensure programs and services are meeting recruiting team needs. Maintain consistent employer branding on internal and external career sites. Perform troubleshooting on user issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise on robust talent acquisition system (iCIMS). Respond to user questions and resolve issues. Identify process and workflow efficiencies. Assist with data integrity and analysis.
- Coordinate career fairs and other recruiting events, including interfacing with representatives from Employee Resource Groups and external organizations. Manage employee referral program.
- Oversees candidate travel program. Interact with candidates, travel agency, local hotels, and other vendors. Ensure guest travel needs are met and candidates have a positive experience. Responsible for monitoring related expenses.
- Serve as an employer representative authorized to complete I-9s. Ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition process improvement projects. Provide project management support to include creating and maintaining project documentation, preparing presentations and materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Three years of talent acquisition experience
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of the organization
- Strong team player and collaborator
- Detail- oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent judgment and analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
