Special Instructions to Applicant:

The Department of History and World Cultures is seeking an adjunct instructor beginning Fall 2023, who can teach a 3 credit hour course (face to face) on the history of science and math from the ancient world to the present. Candidates should have teaching experience in a relevant field and a minimum Master’s Degree in History or another relevant field.

All instructors are expected to be competent teachers who cover the essential content and fulfill the learning objectives of the courses they teach; responsive to changing professional needs; committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning; and able to make effective use of technology.

Application materials must include a brief cover letter that provides a professional introduction, a curriculum vita, a list of academic references, copies of all collegiate-level transcripts, and a syllabus of the course as described.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have teaching experience in a relevant field and a minimum Master’s Degree in History or another relevant field.
