Position Summary

The Psychology Department at Trinity College seeks to fill a non-tenure track, two-year position beginning in July 2023, for a Visiting Assistant Professor with expertise in perception. The successful candidate will teach 5 courses during each academic year. The schedule for one semester would be one section of Introduction to Psychological Science (capped at 35 students) and an advanced seminar covering perception-relevant content (capped at 16 students). The schedule for the other semester would be a one section of Introduction to Psychological Science, a 200-level lecture course on Sensation & Perception (capped at 35 students) and a lab course covering perception-relevant content (capped at 18 students).

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology, with expertise in perception ( ABD also considered); some experience teaching undergraduates preferred.
