The successful candidate will develop a robust understanding of UA to support productive coordination of its broad range of components.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Making logistical arrangements for onsite and online professional learning workshops, partner meetings, and diverse other events, including reserving spaces, coordinating catering, confirming registration, preparing supplies, entering attendance data, taking notes, organizing follow-up tasks, sending reminders, and providing other support.

  • Populating and monitoring Outlook and Google calendars shared by all partners.
  • Monitoring and coordinating the program's Zoom, email and other accounts.
  • Importing data into the program database and monitoring data integrity.
  • Coordinating with the UA management team to plan large annual outreach events.
  • Assisting with the coordination of UA's voucher program, including monitoring, tracking, and reporting vouchers used by UA participants, and analyzing patterns.
  • Coordinating with the purchasing and budget teams to support their work with vendors, ordering supplies, and billing.
  • Working closely with the UA Director, Associate and Assistant Directors, the UA team, and other AMNH education staff.
  • Performing other duties as required, with a high level of independence, including working with Gottesman Center staff, internal museum departments, and high-level staff from outside the institution while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Availability to work some weekends and evenings.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by UA program leadership.
