Psychology: The School-Based Prevention & Early Intervention Marketing and Design Specialist is responsible for advancing the mission of the SBCOE through the development of planful marketing, promotion, and graphic design. This position will work cooperatively with the internal SBCOE team, as well as MU partners and a wide range of collaborative external partnerships including Ohio’s K-12 schools, community organizations, academia, and state agencies.

The School-Based Prevention & Early Intervention Marketing and Design Specialist will:

•     Develop unique and creative prevention and early intervention messaging in videos, animation, and still formats.

•     Lead the design and development for a standard of high-quality materials.

•     Create infographics and templates that schools can download and use locally.

•     Develop innovative approaches to reach our various constituencies around the state with mental health, prevention, and early identification materials.

•     Lead the development of a SBCOE annual marketing and outreach plan.

•     Collaborate with School-Based Prevention & Early Intervention Content Specialist to create compelling and engaging social media content.

•     Design landing pages and website updates for the SBCOE and related initiatives.

•     Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, from concepts to deliverables.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing or related field that is aligned with the focus of the position, from an accredited college or university or the equivalent thereof; record of accomplishment in outreach and collaborative partnerships.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a passion for supporting mental wellbeing in young people through information and resources; strong skills related to layout and design. Familiarity with digital accessibility; strong skills in project management; ability to use multiple digital programs; ability to create content for multiple audiences; project planning skills; communication, time management, research, and teamwork; Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist.
