Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Germanna Community College is currently looking for a High Tech Testing Facilitator to proctor Pearson VUE, Certiport, GED, CLEP, Automotive Services Exam (ASE), other high-stake tests, and compile data. This position will be located at the Fredericksburg Area Campus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proctors Pearson VUE, Certiport, GED, CLEP, Automotive Services Exam (ASE), and other high-stake tests while following established procedures and guidelines.
• Provides administrative support by creating professional and courteous correspondences between test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff, and students
• Compiles and generates daily reports, enters data in Excel, and completes daily task reports
• Secures and maintains testing information; keeps accurate records; and files documents
• Provides consistent information on testing policies and procedures to test candidates and prospective examinees
• Provides excellent customer service and provides requested information or refers to the appropriate department
• Ensures all computers have updated software

KSA's/Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Customer service experience in a high-volume environment with an ability to handle stressful situations
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Extensive computer skills; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365—Outlook, Word & Excel, specifically
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn applications quickly
• Experience working with a diverse population
• Completes certifications within 30 days of hire date
• Flexible work schedule to include evenings and Saturdays and at other campuses and off-site when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in a testing center
• Experience working in a post-secondary educational environment
• Pearson VUE Certification
