The Department of Biological Sciences at Seton Hall University is seeking applicants interested in a part-time position for academic advising of undergraduate Biology majors (non-dual degree). Part-time advisor will advise approximately 120 undergraduate students, provide registration PIN numbers to their advisees as appropriate, and keep records of all activities pertaining to advisement. Orientation and guidance can be obtained from consultation with Biology Dept's Coordinator for Academic Advising; coordinator will also provide list of advise

Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle sensitive issues and facilitate collaboration at the highest level.
Resolve conflict, negotiate or collaborate on major projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts to enhance workflow and work quality.
Guides work of others who perform essentially the same work. May organize, set priorities, schedule and review work, but has no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance or make pay decisions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree - Field of study

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree - Field of study

Salary Grade:

AD160 - Administrative
