  • Engage in long-range planning, including recommending new policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Manage, develop and forecast departmental and program budgets, as needed
  • Represent school/department programs and initiatives to internal and external constituents
  • Manage the implementation of technology to enhance effectiveness, compliance and business processes

With regard to stakeholder engagement, the CCE Director will:

  • Develop relationships with campus community centers, the offices of the Vice Provosts for Undergraduate and Graduate Education, academic departments and individual faculty to strengthen student connections with relevant resources, programs and career-related opportunities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key external partners to advance the agenda of engaging students across a range of units and schools
  • Identify, manage relationships and negotiate with external and internal partners, including ad hoc and continuing working groups, task forces and committees
