The University of Evansville invites applications for the Assistant Professor position in Electrical/Computer Engineering, to start in August 2023.  This position is located at the university’s main campus in Evansville, Indiana.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include teaching up to 12 contact hours per semester. Course assignments will be a combination of lecture and laboratory courses. All teaching is at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates who are passionate about undergraduate engineering education and can teach a variety of courses in electrical and computer engineering. Required Education/Experience

Candidates must have a doctorate in electrical or computer engineering.  Candidates without a doctorate must have earned a master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering and have five (5) years of relevant industry-based professional experience along with a professional engineer’s license. Candidates who can further broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students are encouraged to apply.
