Pay Range Information
Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.

Job Description Summary
The Inclusive Leadership Center Director will lead TPI’s inclusive principal leadership initiatives. This includes the development of an inclusive principal leadership framework, development and recruitment for a Networked Improvement Community, lead an annual Principal Leadership Institute, and engage with experts in the field to develop a National Education Leadership Advisory Board. The Center Director will have oversight on the implementation of all grant-related activities. The Center Director will be responsible for all grant-related activities. They will oversee personnel and budgets related to this initiative. The Inclusive Leadership Center Director will work with various stakeholders in this work to include current principals and leaders, leadership faculty, individuals pursuing their administrative credential while cultivating ongoing relationships with school and district partners.
This position is grant-funded. Continuing employment in this position is contingent upon availability of grant funds.

Responsibilities
Inclusive Leadership Lead
- Facilitates all Inclusive Principal Leadership Initiatives including the Networked Improvement Communities and Principal Learning Institute convenings
- In collaboration with experts, develops an Inclusive Principal Leadership
- Framework including the creation and dissemination of appropriate resources/materials
- Facilitates and supports Inclusive Leadership initiatives through virtual and in person meeting.
- Responsible for meeting all grant deadlines including leading and delivering annual report development. This includes developing and implementing plans for scale.
- Works collaboratively with TPI staff to builds and maintains external relationships with national partner organizations, and experts in the field to develop a National Education Leadership Advisory Board
- Researches and stays abreast of national landscape issues and developments in the area of Inclusive Leadership
- Supports strategic staffing design work with school and district leadership
- Oversee all workflow and operations throughout the duration of the project
- Coordinate all meetings and events
- Consistently monitors program effectiveness and uses outcomes for improvement
- Works closely with the TPI Director and Evaluation and Research Manager to report outcomes Coordinate and secure experts for NIC meetings Works closely with leadership team to examine and refine budget structures
- Direct oversight with all consultants
- Master’s in education required
- Certificated PK-12 administrator with minimum of 5 years of experience in administration
- Strong pedagogical knowledge and expertise
- Demonstrates expertise in inclusive education including students with extensive support needs in general education classrooms
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality professional development
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues, including the ability to create and nurture professional community of adult learners
- Demonstrated strength in organization and meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Demonstrated leadership in promoting equity and diversity
