Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for anticipated part-time adjunct openings in the Department of Mathematics. Position has responsibility for teaching one combined undergraduate/graduate level course in Statistical Methods (MTH 441/541). The course focuses on investigative statistics, emphasizing the process of data collection and data analysis including techniques such as two-sample t-tests, regression and ANOVA, logistic regression, and survival analysis. Students in the course will have taken two prior courses in probability and statistics. Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field by time of appointment from an accredited US Department of Education college or university.
- Graduate-level training in statistical methods sufficient to the course.
- Teaching experience in Mathematics or Statistics.
- PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching statistics as instructor of record.
