Job Description:

Full-time, tenure-line instructor beginning August 2023 based on the Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean, NY. Responsibility for teaching a full range of freshman/sophomore courses in the disciplines of Sociology and Anthropology. Ability to develop new curriculum and support special initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

Qualifications:

Required: Master’s degree in sociology or anthropology; or Master’s degree in a related field with coursework or teaching experience in sociology or anthropology.

Preferred: Doctorate in sociology, anthropology, or related field; community college teaching experience; experience working with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in an academic and/or community setting.
