The basics of this position:

Under the direction of the Health Resources and Service Administration-Community Health Worker Training Program (HRSA-CHWTP) Grant Project Director, this position performs all duties necessary to coordinate the HRSA-CHWTP grant including but not limited to coordinating related budgets; preparing and submitting all required reports; serving as a contact with the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA); maintaining contact with applicable external state and national agencies and organizations; representing the College and maintaining relationships with external agencies related to the Community Health Worker (CHW) program; and providing support for program data management and communication. Under the HRSA-CHWTP grant STLCC will expand the public health workforce by training new CHWs which will aid HRSA in improving access to quality health services, improve health equity and enhance population health.

What you'll do:

Coordinates the HRSA-CHWTP grant, including project administration, financial management,
training program oversight, and grant compliance.

Supervises all project faculty and staff.

Maintains and retains project data and materials as required. Completes progress, financial, and other required reports.

Monitors sub-recipient performance and ensures accurate and timely effort reporting for
project personnel.

Has a comprehensive understanding of the Community Health Worker industry and
curriculum. Provides CHW classroom instruction and guest speaker facilitation.

Works with requisite College departments to complete project requirements.

Builds and manages relationships with internal and external associates to meet program
needs for community speakers, service learning placement sites, employment partnerships,
and Registered Apprenticeship placements

Oversees Registered Apprenticeships, including trainee enrollment, training provider
oversight, wage and progress tracking, and record management.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of relevant full-time experience
Experience as a Community Health Worker

Preferred Qualifications:

Credentialed Community Health Worker in Missouri
Familiarity with Registered Apprenticeship programs with U.S. Department of Labor
