Position Purpose
The Outreach Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and executing the marketing and recruiting activities for Online and Learning Engagement (specifically the Continuing Education programs). Reporting to the Vice Provost for Online and Learning Engagement, this position will be responsible for managing an email communication system to segment audiences and forward appropriate messaging in an effective way. The coordinator will ensure strong, quality lead generation and lead nurturing meeting OLE enrollment goals. Additionally, this position will assist with UCM online and UCM Lee’s Summit email and text campaigns, marketing collateral, and developing other communication tools. This position will require high collaboration with various offices across campus and external entities. This position will work in both locations – UCM Lee’s Summit and Warrensburg.

-Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
-Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Computer Skills
Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Web Page Maintenance, Other - Website Content Management, Email Communication Software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and understanding of HTML preferred
Experience
1. Two (2) years of public relations, journalism, communication, outreach, marketing, or related work required.
2. Experience working with website content and design development, writing, editing, storytelling and marketing
3. Experience with email marketing systems
4. Experience with adult learning & program development best practices, research and trends preferred.
