Position Summary Information
Summary
Provide administrative staff support in regard to clinical placement and health records for students in the nursing programs, working under and closely with the Director of Clinical Affiliations/Health Records Analyst. Serving as the liaison between the College of Nursing and clinical sites. This position also includes securing, monitoring, and managing affiliation agreements in both undergrad and graduate programs for the purpose of clinical placement. It includes monitoring faculty and student compliance with clinical requirements as outlined and setting clinical rosters. Additional expectations include professional interactions with clinical agency personnel, faculty, staff, and students regarding clearance, schedules, rosters, and clinical placements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Clinical Affiliations/Health Records Analyst.
- Support the Director of Clinical Affiliations in determining, requesting, sending, and confirming clinical placements.
- Complete the necessary clinical profiles and electronic processes for each site, per agency, providing accurate reporting of information.
- Coordinate annual Joint Advisory meetings.
- Oversee cloud-based compliance database, including maintenance, organization, and system updates.
- Conduct orientations for new students and faculty for a cloud-based compliance database.
- Monitor student and faculty compliance with CoN clinical requirements via a cloud-based compliance database.
- Compiles, organizes, and processes documentation for nursing programs as required.
- Composes and prepares confidential correspondences, reports, and other documents.
- Secure, monitor, and manage affiliation agreements with clinical agencies, updating documents and insurance as needed.
- Works with Legal and other departments to ensure compliance with clinical agencies.
- Send all department emails to student and clinical agencies for health-related issues.
- Track and administer notification of all health-related issues.
- Process undergrad and graduate program preceptor agreements, checking for current affiliation and licensure.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers in order to complete office work assignments.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of Nursing and experience.
