Overview
The Administration Assistant (AA) position is an exciting opportunity to sustain the University’s financial aid, teaching, and research mission in a unique way. At Princo, every role plays a key part to our team’s success. This role will report to the Executive Administrative Assistant (EA) for the Asset Classes, Private and Marketable Managing Directors (MD), and the MD responsible for Operations, Admin and Technology. This AA position will directly support the EA’s work for Princo’s MDs and supporting teams. The AA will also have the opportunity to engage with functions across of the firm, including special projects, operations, recruiting, marketing, events and investment portfolio manager engagement. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Execution and monitoring of the Private and Marketable Managing Directors’ calendars, org agenda, technology requirements and systems’ access
- Review of meeting and travel schedules -ensure that team travel is optimized and coordinated
- Identification of calendar issues across the asset class teams, coordination of reference calls, and assistance with document management
- Attendance of internal meetings when appropriate
- Awareness of news/social media that involves the University and/or Endowment or could impact the Endowment
- Facilitate relationships and communication within the University community and partner networks
- Staffing reception when needed
- Prepping, editing, and proofing documents
- Desire to learn new things and dig deeper than the surface with a particular interest in finance, event management, and higher education
- Can recognize workflow patterns and suggest improvements to our systems
- Are flexible and can work effectively within a matrix reporting structure
- Can multitask and manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines
- Take ownership of their work and have the judgment to discern between quick, easy decisions and those that need input

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- An organized, detail-oriented mindset and can carefully handle confidential and sensitive material
- Experience and comfort working extensively with Microsoft Office
- Ability to take initiative, self-supervise, and work autonomously while asking for support as needed
- Proficient communication (verbal and writing) skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of styles
- Strategize, develop, manage large projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Varied background in media, finance, and academia are welcome
