The Department of Anatomy at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) of A.T. Still University invites applications for a full-time (12-month), tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or other terminal degree with formal training in one or more anatomical disciplines including Histology, Pathology, Human Gross Anatomy, or Neuroanatomy, at least two years of postdoctoral experience, and evidence of ability to teach at a professional/graduate school level. This position requires a balance between teaching at KCOM and Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (MOSDOH), research, and service as designated by the department chair. Teaching responsibilities at KCOM and MOSDOH may include Histology, Pathology, Human Gross Anatomy, and either Neuroanatomy, or Embryology for medical and dental students. Other expectations include ability to conduct independent research (this is supported by designated space and appropriate initial funding), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
