Job Summary

Drexel University Kline School of Law, in Philadelphia, seeks to hire an Assistant Teaching Professor for a position commencing in the fall of 2023. This is a two-year, renewable, non-tenure track position.

Essential Functions

The successful candidate will teach courses in the area of law and technology. These courses may be offered as part of the JD, LLM, BA, or Master of Legal Studies programs and may be offered in both face to face and online modalities. This faculty member will be affiliated with the law school’s Center for Law and Transformational Technology and will be expected to handle certain administrative functions within the center.

Required Qualifications
  • A JD or its equivalent. Experience not required
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have a demonstrated record of, or commitment to, scholarly achievement and excellence. Because the School is part of a major research university, faculty are expected to engage in scholarship at the highest level. The School particularly seeks candidates with educational, methodological, or practice backgrounds that add vitality to their research.
