The Department of Mathematics at Rocky Mountain College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 1,  2023. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and demonstrated excellence as an instructor. A Ph.D. in mathematics or mathematics education is preferred for this position.  Candidates with a Master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education will also be considered. 

 

The position requires teaching an average course load of 12 credits each semester, for a total of 24 credit hours per academic year, service to the college, and participation in curriculum and course development. Courses to be taught include service courses such as College Algebra and statistics, and mathematics courses across the undergraduate curriculum. The successful candidate will support and carry out the mission of the college as well as demonstrate a commitment to developing and enhancing a culture of rigor, excellence, and achievement. Salary is commensurate with experience.
